Welcome to Shaggy Bear Farms!

We are a small family farm located in Scio, Oregon—about 20 miles southeast of Salem.  We are committed to the conservation and promotion of endangered breeds of livestock.  We are proud to be members of the following organizations:

We raise Jacob, Icelandic, Navajo-Churro and Soay sheep as well as Pygora goats. We also have a small herd of alpacas. At Shaggy Bear Farms we lamb and kid in the month of March each year.

We have a number of lambs and kids available for sale as well as older ewes and does that may be purchased bred or open.  Unprocessed and processed fiber, and yarn is also available.

Delivery may be possible so please ask. We strive to have a farm full of healthy, happy, and personable animals.
